The first keywords for a Korean business should describe something it actually offers to an audience it can serve.

Start with the service the customer wants

The first keywords for a Korean business should describe something it actually offers to an audience it can serve. A large search estimate is not useful if the query concerns an unrelated industry, a job opening or a service in a location the business does not cover.

Build an initial list from service names, customer problems and the decisions made before an inquiry. Include the language customers use rather than only the business's internal terminology. For a bilingual project, research English and Korean independently before pairing the pages.

Separate a hiring query from a learning question

Agency, company and service modifiers often suggest provider selection. How, what and comparison questions may need an explanation before a commercial decision. These are useful starting interpretations, not a substitute for reviewing the real results and audience need.

Assign the service page the commercial job. Let a supporting article answer one distinct question and point to the relevant service when appropriate. If several phrases lead to essentially the same answer, group them. Replacing Korean with Korea in a title does not automatically create another useful topic.

Read estimates together with business relevance

Record the exact measured term, market, language, retrieval date and the source's estimate. Keep an unavailable figure separate from a reported zero. A keyword with no reported volume can still describe a valuable niche, but you should not invent traffic to justify it.

Difficulty estimates can help compare candidates when available. They do not establish that a new page will reach a particular position. Also distinguish an exact term's volume from the volume of a broader related seed. A 170-search seed does not mean a proposed question headline gets 170 searches.

Prioritize pages the team can make genuinely useful

For each candidate, ask whether the team has relevant expertise, proof and a next step for the reader. Prioritize a manageable group of service pages and related questions rather than hundreds of thin variations. Record why each page exists and which page owns the main intent.

A practical keyword sheet includes the phrase, intent, audience, target URL, supporting articles, evidence, priority and review status. After publication, use actual query and inquiry evidence to refine the map. A keyword list should change when the business or the evidence changes.

What should you send to an SEO team?

Send your domain, actual services, intended customers, languages and priority markets. Include existing pages and questions prospects already ask. C3i3 Korea can use that information to discuss a focused keyword-to-page plan instead of treating every phrase containing Korean as a target.
