An affiliate program needs an offer people can act on

A Korean affiliate marketing company should help connect relevant partners with an offer that can be understood, purchased and tracked. Recruiting creators is only part of the work. If the destination page is unclear, the offer is unavailable in the audience's country or the attribution rules are uncertain, additional partners will not resolve the underlying problem.

Before launch, describe the customer, eligible offer and intended markets. Check whether the business can fulfill what the campaign promises. For a service business, define which referral action qualifies; it may differ from an ecommerce purchase.

Define the commercial terms before recruitment

Write down the compensation structure, qualifying action, attribution period, exclusions, payment timing and treatment of returns or cancellations. Confirm who pays any platform, transfer or currency-conversion fees. There is no universal commission rate that makes sense for every category.

Terms should also explain whether partners receive samples, whether content is required and how approvals work. A gifted item, a paid production fee and an affiliate commission are different forms of value. If a campaign combines them, make each component visible instead of assuming one replaces the others.

Test the referral journey from the partner to the order

Follow a test referral through the full journey. Does the link reach the right language and offer? Can the customer complete the intended action? Can the team distinguish an eligible referral from a return, duplicate or unrelated visit? Use the actual platform's documented rules rather than assuming every link tracks the same way.

Test reporting access and the process for resolving disagreements before inviting a larger group. Tracking can be affected by implementation and user behavior; describe its limits honestly. Do not present a dashboard estimate as proof of incremental sales without examining the underlying definition.

Recruit for category fit and useful content

A useful partner understands the audience's question and can explain why the category is relevant. Give partners accurate information, approved assets and clear relationship-disclosure expectations. Content should help a reader make a decision, not hide the commercial relationship behind an apparently independent recommendation.

Start with a manageable set of partners and record what each collaboration teaches you. Review qualified traffic, eligible actions, returns, partner feedback and the time required to manage the program. A busy program is not automatically a commercially useful one.

What should an affiliate company proposal include?

Ask who manages recruitment, onboarding, creative support, reporting and partner questions. Separate the agency's fee from commissions and other campaign costs. Request a clear workflow, with examples labeled honestly if they are hypothetical.

Introduce your category, markets, current sales process and preferred partnership model to C3i3 Korea. Our team can discuss the work needed to make the program ready for relevant partners. No affiliate arrangement should begin with a promise that every partner or click will produce a sale.
